it’s a sunny day

and i’m stuck at home doing math. last of two study days! torture starts next week.

been feeling rather down lately. speshly when hanging out with my two good friends. they’re so smart. it’s not fair. and the way they discuss stuff around me gets on my nerves. i mean, i didn’t ask to be dumb. you could at least include me in your conversation! anyhowww. i don’t think they do it intentionally…so loves still!

seven hours of chem yesterday (: feels kinda good to get it behind me.

God feels I need to have more faith in Him…for math mostly. i keep failing so i kinda gave up  on asking for help. bad right? it’s just so hard all the time!

prague is in three days (: i’m psyched. though lufthansa has no personal entertainment. i had been looking forward to those cool tvs…oh well. i hope hope hope we don’t get thrashed (or too thrashed! there’s a difference!) and get a really good racing experience. i remember being IN AWE of the mixed boat crew last year in penang. all the strong seniors. they were really heart and soul. haha. and we had good dinners together (: and this year will be good too. right, ven? (; (; (;

we’re moving this saturday! my own room. at last.

okay i’d better get back to history. before prague comes and robs me of study time.

no obs this week, so no school! muahaha.

i just found out today that prague is from 24th to 31st! I always thought it would be from 26th to 30th! added two days in front and one behind! half a day before we fly i would have just returned from week-long obs, urgghh. my mom wrote an email to the school to excuse me already.

i’m going to miss serving at gkidz, and school, and friends, and family, and cell. but it’s prague! matthew says take lots of pictures (: i think i shall.

i really really hope we can win something. wdbrc’s really important to all of us, and even though there are SO MANY BIGASS TEAMS from europe and australia, i hope we can make it!

i am sick, sick, sick! and just when i actually looked forward to that last race. i rolled out of bed this morning and the floor was spinning and the ceiling was falling and my head was bursting and my throat didn’t feel like a throat.

everyone’s leaving for moscow tomorrow! i hope they all get a good experience.

my dad’s become the regular joke of the house.  it’s pretty funny actually, so i’m not complaining!

only he #1 attempts to use the autospell function on his phone then does it the manual way and then gets mad and wonders why the words don’t come out right, #2 talks with someone at a party and asks for the person’s name and where he lives twice during the half hour conversation (in the car after that we laughed a lot at this. tried to help dad come up with non-embarrassing ways to ask for someone’s name again: a) <mum> err, can you spell your name for me please? [how hard is it to spell 'simon'??] so, b) <dad> err, ha! so, can you spell your name backwards?), #3.1 takes his popiah skin during dinner and covers the lower half of his face and goes “eh, like arabian women.” and then  #3.2 proceeds to bite two holes in it (presumably for the eyes) so he can wear it like a mask and then, #3.3 puts it in his mouth and let the the other half down and goes, “olddd maaan, olddd maaan”… he’s so funny!

nineteen years of being married. so that’s how you liven things up. (haha, haha, haha haha!)

my dad’s really dear, at any rate. i’m glad he’s not all stiff and stuffy and no fun at all.

on a happier note…! i finished most of all my homework for the weekend, yesss! i am VERY, VERY, VERY HAPPY. and there’s no school next tuesday, which makes me happy too! and of course there’s that packet of famous amos sitting on the sideboard that i am absolutely dying to touch.

and and and, great food at ashley’s tomorrow! i can feel it in my bones.

i found my phone in my pillowcase! missed it for the whole day.

seriously though, i think debates like these are meant to be fun. not to act all big and make others feel really, really small. or fire like there’s no tomorrow because – well – it’s depressing. i used to be like that, i think. trying to ask smart, sharp, terrible questions so they can’t answer! :O whew, it’s not so anymore. older, wiser, – must be 3.6 Gambling. haha!

moment of truth. i actually thought i’d be able to not mention anything close to canoeing…see. reduced to just trying to have a life on sundays. i was just telling esther that i have to talk about other things. everytime i open my mouth canoeing comes out. this is unhealthy.

i am back, and i am okay! (after last night.)

today was tiring. slept in mrs ten’s class and felt bad…! i shouldn’t do that anymore. oh, and then – after school we were playing cards and we got caught and made to do lines! ugh.

Since gambling in an educational institution is against the law you may not do it in the College. Any student caught gambling will be suspended from school. No card games are allowed except bridge sessions organized by the Bridge Club.

I memorized this. It’s in my head like, permanently.

On the first day of nationals heats I climbed over the school side gate and broke my two front teeth. After that I thought I was older and wiser…

…apparently, not.

Well. I think it might now be safe to say that I am, older, and wiser.
